Description We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role revolves around financial planning and analysis, budget processes, and financial forecasting. You will be part of a team responsible for managing the IT expense base. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.Responsibilities:Corporate FP& A. Industry is not required. Either great interdepartmental communicator or excellent at Hyperion HPE. Participate in financial planning processes and utilize Microsoft Excel and Hyperion Technologies Handle the integration and strategic projects/business case of technology expense Collaborate with the finance team to address challenges related to company separation Report to the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager Contribute to the financial analysis and budget processes of the company Assist in strategic financial planning and forecasting Utilize Hyperion Technologies for forecasting Manage financial planning and analysis for the company's strategic projects Handle finance-related inquiries and resolve them promptly.Requirements Candidate must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar role. Proficiency in Budget Processes and Expense Reporting is mandatory. Strong knowledge and understanding of Finance and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP& A) are required. Experience with Hyperion Technologies is highly desirable. Expertise in Budgeting and Forecasting is essential. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field is required; an MBA or relevant certification (such as CFA or CPA) is preferred. Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop financial models and perform complex financial scenario analysis are necessary. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required to effectively present financial information to non-financial associates. Solid problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities are crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills, is necessary. The ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced setting is essential. Must have a strong ethical framework and unquestionable integrity.
