Technology Finance FP&A Lead Analyst

About this role:Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Finance Analyst to provide financial planning and analysis (FP&A) support to Wells Fargo Technology. In this role, you will work as a member of the Wells Fargo Technology Finance team to provide financial planning and analysis support. You will assist in advising management on various aspects of Technology's expense projections and alignment to their strategy. In addition, you will establish yourself as a value-added member of the wider Financial Planning and Analysis team to support firmwide expense reporting.In this role, you will:

Have general Finance and FP&A responsibilities with respect to Wells Fargo Technology's global expenses, inclusive of the following:

Support the monthly expense management and forecasting of Wells Fargo Technology

Provide support and analytics related to Wells Fargo Global Technology's annual expense planning ensuring alignment to overall financial goals and strategy.

Research trending and provide analytics of underlying expense drivers and make recommendations for monthly and quarterly financial forecasting.

Deliver expense insights to business and financial leadership.

Lead the process of accounting for internally developed software forecasting and budgeting. Partner with Accounting to ensure controlled recording of assets are aligned to work performed.

Provide financial support to Wells Fargo Technology with respect to strategic and transformational efforts.

Requiring cross-functional coordination with partners across enterprise finance and within Technology Finance

Meet deliverables and drive new initiatives with solid understanding of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.

Make decisions in maintaining effective and efficient reporting delivery that meets brand standards and internal control standards.

Leverage FP&A tools and skills of the future to automate and strengthen controls.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

5+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Experience assessing and analyzing raw data sets and transforming to actionable insights.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

Power BI and Alteryx knowledge is preferable.

A BS/BA degree or higher in one or a combination of the following: Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or Reporting
