Development experience with Strong SQL and Data Analysis
Develop and design jobs and workflows to unload/load data into Teradata RDBMS using utilities like FASTLOAD, MLOAD, BTEQ, FASTXPORT, TPUMP, TPT (Teradata Parallel Transporter), Informatica and Teradata SQL Assistant.
Solid experience in Teradata stored procedures, macros, and functions Very strong in writing SQL, code reviews, and performance tuning techniques
Experience in ETL using Teradata Utilities in a Windows/Unix/Linux environment
Exposure to performance tuning within a Teradata environment.
Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux scripting and understanding shell scripts
Proficient in writing complex SQLs, expertise in performance tuning of SQLs
Knowledge of BI, Data Warehousing and Teradata architecture is a plus
Understanding data analytics principles and reporting tools would be an advantage.
Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies
Strong Communication, Articulation, Analytical Skills
Ability to handle multiple stakeholders including management
Collaborating closely with business users and PMO to review requirements.
Develop, recommend and discuss technical designs that meet those requirements.
Analyzing, documenting, and performing system configuration and setup as well as integration and system testing.
Troubleshooting issues with existing systems and resolve. Ability to work in a team environment and client interfacing skills.
