Job Title: Weaver OperatorJob Description
We are a leading advanced material provider for the composite and protective markets, specializing in the manufacture of soft armor.
As a Weaver Operator, you will be responsible for making circuit looms, bombing the yarn, and ensuring the quality of the product.
You will work primarily on the air jet loom and Rapier loom, with opportunities to work in the carbon room for additional compensation and to grow into other roles within the company.
Responsibilities
Set up the weaver machine
Thread needles by hand
Ensure attention to detail throughout the process
Inspect products to ensure patterns are correct
Pick count and identify any defects or anomalies in the fabric
Flag down fixer apprentices if a quality issue is identified
