The Chop Shop Butchery is now hiring for all positions at our retail butcher shop in Myers Park.
Do you love high quality food? Are you excellent at customer service? We are forming a team for our new butcher shop opening in June! Our family owned shop is expanding from Asheville to bring the best local beef and pork from Western North Carolina to the Charlotte area. We also offer all natural poultry, lamb, salami, deli meats, charcuterie, sausages, prepared foods, local and imported cheeses, boutique wines and more!

Food service or retail management experience?
Customer service/serving experience?
Deli station experience?
Wine and cheese knowledge and sales experience?
TOAST point of sale experience?
ServSafe management certificate?
Positions available
Store Manager – full salary
Customer service – Hourly + tips, full and part-time positions available - deli, fresh meats, retail wine & cheese
Customer service duties include:
Setting and maintaining a beautiful meat display
Presenting a lovely environment for our guests
Receiving shipments, organizing inventory
Personalized counter service for custom cut meats
Learning and sharing information about our products, including cooking techniques, recipes, wine pairings, etc
Properly storing products at end of each day
Slice to order deli station
Management duties would ALSO include:
Scheduling of staff
Training of staff on products, POS, SOPs
Placing and receiving orders, maintenance of par levels, stock rotation
Weekly reports/meetings with owners
Maintaining Health Department and HACCP regulations
