### Experienced Part-Time Cook (Buffet & Line)
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Part-Time Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate has a strong background in a professional kitchen environment and is proficient in both buffet and line cooking.
This position requires a flexible individual who is a team player and is willing to assist with all kitchen duties, including buffet and line preparation, food plating, and dishwashing when needed. You must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook menu items for both buffet and service.
Monitor food temperatures and presentation to ensure quality and safety.
Assist with kitchen prep, including chopping vegetables and portioning ingredients.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth service and efficient workflow.
Maintain a clean and organized work station.
Help with washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment as required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a cook in a professional setting.
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
