We are seeking a highly Experienced Line Cook—a dedicated professional who thrives under pressure and is committed to maintaining impeccable consistency and presentation on every single plate.
### Key Responsibilities (The Line)
The Line Cook is responsible for the rapid and accurate execution of all menu items in a high-volume, dynamic environment.
Station Mastery: Take full ownership of an assigned station (Sauté, Grill, or Fry), ensuring complete mise en place is maintained and stocked before and throughout the entire service period.
Execution & Quality: Prepare, season, and cook all dishes according to the Executive Chef's exact specifications, recipes, and portion controls, maintaining consistent quality regardless of volume or time of night.
Timing and Communication: Effectively communicate with the Expediter and other line cooks to coordinate timing, ensuring all plates are finished simultaneously and delivered hot and flawlessly to the pass.
Sanitation & Organization: Adhere rigorously to all state and club sanitation standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times, including proper handling, labeling, and rotation of all food products.
Closing Duties: Execute a thorough and complete breakdown and deep cleaning of the station and assigned kitchen areas at the close of service.
### Required Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of continuous experience as a Line Cook in an upscale restaurant, banquet facility, or high-volume club environment.
Technical Skill: Proficient in multiple cooking techniques (grilling, sautéing, frying, etc.) and demonstrated excellence in knife skills and food safety practices.
Availability: Must have complete availability for evening, overnight, and weekend shifts. Late-night work is mandatory for this role.
Stamina: Proven ability to work long hours (8+ hours), standing and operating efficiently in a hot, fast-paced kitchen under intense pressure.
