We are seeking professional individual to fill our Sushi Chef position. Ideal candidates will work in our Sushi Bar under the supervision of our Head Sushi Chef.
Job duties include butnot limited to:
- Follows recipe standards and guidelines and exacting standards;
- Supports the sushi bar with food preparation and plating;
- Adheres to food safety and sanitation requirements;
- Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and ensure smooth operations and quality service.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of sushi experience;
- Understands various sushi preparation methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures;
- Must be able to work cleanly, efficiently, with respect for quality ingredients and careful attention to preparation.
- Excellent knife & chopsticks skills and food preparation skills;
- Must be able to work on weekends and / or holidays;
- Positive & motivated attitude;
- Able to work under pressure and stand for long hours;
- High sanitation standards
