Looking for one experienced and dependable Direct Care professional to work in a group home setting part time. The Shift would be split. Were in need of coverage from 6am-8am, then you'd return to the facility to work 4p-8pm. Our resident participates in community and day supports and will be picked up at 8am Monday- Friday and has full days in the facility on the weekends. Currently, we are in immediate need of someone to cover 3 days during the week and occasional weekends. If a weekend day is worked, it will be a 14 hour shift from 6am-8pm. You will be compensated $16.67/hr for week days and $17.67 for weekends. Some duties include medication administration, meal preparation, maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility, assisting resident with chores(cleaning bathroom, sweeping, vacuuming, dishes, laundry), companionship, etc. The ideal candidate will be compassionate, patient, and experienced working with IDD adults. Being trained in medication administration, first aide/CPR, and crisis intervention is preferred, but not required. Candidate must have dependable transportation, current drivers license and car insurance. Only serious, dependable applicants are encouraged to apply.
