Job Summary:
As an Embroidery Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining multi-head embroidery machines to produce decorated apparel and accessories. You'll ensure each job meets our high-quality standards and production timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
● Operate commercial embroidery machines (Tajima)
● Load and hoop garments correctly for stitching
● Read and interpret work orders, design sheets, and thread color charts
● Thread needles and program machine settings as required
● Perform regular machine maintenance (cleaning, oiling, tension adjustments)
● Diagnose and resolve machine issues as they occur
● Inspect completed products for accuracy, quality, and consistency
● Work with the production team to meet daily quotas and deadlines
● Keep a clean, organized, and safe work area
Qualifications:
● Previous experience operating industrial embroidery machines is required
● Understanding of digitized embroidery files and machine control panels
● Familiarity with thread types, stabilizers, and hooping techniques
● Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team
● Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
