Stiltz of Charlotte is the local authorized dealer and installer of Stiltz Home Lifts.We install Stiltz brand home elevators in existing homes and new builds. Our shopis located in Concord, NC and we install lifts in approximately a 4-hour radius of Charlotte, NC.Jobsite training and certification to install the residential elevators will be provided to you, but you must have carpentry/remodeling experience to be considered for this position.
This position will require travel within approximately 4-hour radius of Charlotte, NC. If you are not willing to travel regularly and stay out of town 3-4 nights some weeks, this position is not for you. We pay $150/day per diem to cover your nightly accommodations when staying out of town. We cover a large territory including Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro and upstate SC which keeps us busy year-round. We have no rainy days as the majority of our work is interior.
The ideal candidate has the following qualities:
- A willingness to learn how to install residential elevators
- Excellentpeople skills to interact with customers, co-workers, and inspectors in a professional manner
- 3+ years Carpentry/Home Remodeling/Residential Construction experiencesuch as framing, electrical, trim, mud, sheetrock, flooring, doors, cutting baseboard and crown molding, deck construction
- The ability to follow construction plans and installation instructions
- Independent work ethic with the ability to efficiently manage time and resources
- Attention to detail, takes pride in their work, has high integrity
- Greatcommunication skills, must speak English fluently
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis and be responsible fora company vehicle and tools
- Clean Driving Record, Valid Driver's License
