Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance and repair tasks, demonstrating proficiency in various trades. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Handy Man will be responsible for ensuring that facilities are well-maintained and functional, contributing to the overall efficiency of operations.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and fixtures.
Conduct inspections to identify issues requiring attention or repair.
Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including an Ohmmeter for electrical troubleshooting.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.
Assist with renovations, installations, and other improvement projects as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Document completed work orders and report any additional needs to management.
Experience
Proven experience in a maintenance person or maintenance role is preferred.
Familiarity with electrical systems, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair techniques.
Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
