Job Overview:
-Home Elevator Installer, Commercial & Residential VPL (Vertical Platform Lifts), Wooden & Aluminum Ramps for wheelchair accessibility
-Training will be provided to install home elevators & lifts
-Full Time Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break
-Company Vehicle provided after 30 days
-Tools provided
-Health/Dental/Vision Benefits provided after 30 days
-Regular Travel - must be willing to travel around NC & SC
-$150/day per diem to cover your expenses when staying out of town
-Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. - no exceptions
-Must have Valid Driver's License - no exceptions
-Must have Clean Driving Record - no DUI in last 3 years, no exceptions
-Paid Holidays
-Paid Time Off / Vacation Time after 1 Year
Starting pay up to $28/Hour based on experience with room for growth. We will re-evaluate pay within 90 days. Jobsite training to install the equipment will be provided to you, but you must have sufficient carpentry/remodeling experience to be considered for this position.
We are located in Concord, NC and cover a large territory including Raleigh, Charlotte, Greensboro, Asheville, and Upstate SC. This position will require travel within approximately a 4-hour radius of Charlotte, NC. We pay $150/day per diem to cover your expenses when staying out of town. We do many jobs in the Charlotte area; not all of our work is out of town. We generally stay out of town if the job is more than 1-1.5 hours from home.
The ideal candidate has the following qualities:
-A willingness to learn how to install residential elevators
-Ability to interact with customers, co-workers, and inspectors in a professional manner
-2+ years Carpentry/Remodeling experience including framing, trim, mud, sheetrock, flooring
-Ability to follow construction plans and installation instructions
-Efficient & Punctual
-Attention to detail and takes pride in their work
-Great communication skills, must speak English fluently
-Willingness to travel in a company vehicle
-Clean Driving Record and Valid Driver's License
