As an Irrigation Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that irrigation tasks are completed to both client and company standards, contributing to the overall success and reputation of LLG.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the safety of crews and clients by enforcing all company safety policies.Maintain high-quality standards for all irrigation tasks, meeting both client and LLG expectations.Work with Production or Operations Managers to efficiently schedule crew size, routes, and hours.Plan weekly and daily activities to anticipate and address training or process issues.Manage end-of-day preparation and morning dispatch to ensure equipment is maintained and supplies are stocked.Create and maintain accurate documentation of utilized products per work ticket.Inspect landscapes for issues with turf, trees, plants, and irrigation systems.Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely to perform irrigation duties.Collaborate with PM/OM for proper job start-up and enhancement hand-off.Continuously improve by learning about new technologies and water laws affecting the landscape.Comply with company standards, including uniforms, fleet, equipment, and facility maintenance.QualificationsExperience in irrigation systems and landscape maintenance.Knowledge of safe use of hand tools, power tools, and irrigation equipment.Ability to work outdoors for extended periods, in extreme temperatures and sunlight.Physical ability to bend, stoop, twist, lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb, and dig throughout the day.Strong attention to detail and ability to read job and landscape design plans.Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
