We’re a busy aluminum and steel fabrication/welding shop in Salisbury, NC, and we’re looking for an experienced, dependable full-time shop helper. This position involves a variety of hands-on tasks including but not limited to: cutting and prepping metal, drilling accurate holes, operating the plasma cutter, moving materials with a forklift, deburring and cleaning parts, organizing inventory, and assisting fabricators with day-to-day shop work. Forklift experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
We’re looking for someone reliable, safety-minded, and willing to learn the way our shop operates. As you become more skilled and familiar with our workflow, there will be opportunities to take on more responsibility and move into more advanced fabrication tasks.
