A busy business owner/entrepreneur seeks a proactive and detail-oriented part-time marketing
and social media coordinator for 5-10 hours per week. As a Marketing/Social Media
Coordinator, you will be key in promoting our brand and services across various channels. You
will develop and implement marketing and social media campaigns that drive sales and client
engagement.
This position is a remote work position. The marketing and social media coordinator is
expected to work 5-10 hours weekly to complete tasks and projects.
Responsibilities:
● Content Creation: Develop engaging content for website and social media platforms,
including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn. Submit ideas for experiential
marketing programs to enhance and grow the company's brand.
● Social Media Management: Manage and monitor all social media pages, respond to
comments, and engage with followers to foster community, brand loyalty and
recruitment.
● Marketing and Communications Strategy: Implement and be accountable for the
marketing and communications strategies, ensuring they align with EBA’s goals and
objectives.
● Website Management: Maintain, update and improve the website using the WordPress
platform, ensuring that all content is current, accurate, and visually appealing.
● Design and Branding: Design marketing materials, including flyers and brochures,
using tools like Canva and Picmonkey.
● Event Marketing: Assist in planning, content creation and promoting EBA’s events
through various marketing and communication channels.
● Analytics and Reporting: Track, compile and analyze the performance of marketing
campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
● Email list management and maintenance. Set up, edit and manage email campaigns
in Mailchimp. Maintain the email list.
● Travel Ambassador. Participate in scheduled travel experiences as an Ambassador
and carry out assigned tasks. Represent EBA in a positive manner.
We would like you to have:
● Proven experience in content creation and social media management.
● Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
● Proficiency with social media platforms, analytics tools, and content management
systems.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
● A creative and keen eye for detail.
● Experience developing and executing social media campaigns to drive traffic,
engagement and conversions.
● Experience tracking and reporting on key performance metrics to measure success and
inform future strategies.
● Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Detail oriented.
● Resourceful and able to think through problems towards creative and effective
solutions.
● Maintains a positive and relaxed demeanor under stress.
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures. Must be organized and have good
time management skills. Excellent written, verbal communication and customer service skills.
Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel) preferred. The ability to use Google Docs and Google
Sheets is a plus. Must be able to pass a background check, credit check and drug screening.
