We are looking for a highly motivated individual to interested in learning the ins and outs of our CAD/CAM and CNC machining processes. Initial employment will be as an assistant to our product designers which involves checking and machining prototype parts. There is the opportunity to advance to becoming a self-sufficient product designer.
Responsibilities include checking drawings, CAD, CNC and artwork files and producing the physical prototype on our CNC machines. This is followed by preparing the work instructions for production.
This is a great career opportunity for interested candidates to get in on the ground floor for future responsibilities in a brand new and fast growing manufacturing facility in Indian Land, Fort Mill which is currently in planning phase. We expect to be moving there from our current location in 2026.
Training begins now at our current Westinghouse Blvd. facility and includes AutoDesk Fusion 360, Adobe Illustrator, ISO 9001, 5-S and CNC machining and tooling. Previous experience in any of these areas, especially AutoDesk Fusion 360, would be highly beneficial.
