Receiving Clerks needed for one of the best building supply companies in the Southeast US. Great LONG-TERM OPPORTUNITY for experienced warehouse personnel. MUST be detail oriented, organized, FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE AND BILINGUAL/SPANISH A PLUS but not required, able to lift 50-75lbs consistently and work in harsh environments.
Hourly pay rate: $18/hr starting pay
Shift: 7am – 4pm and occasionally working weekends.
Job Overview
Under direct supervision, handles daily receipt of merchandise received from vendor trucks by performing the following duties.
Duties
Examines shipment for defects and shortages against receiving documents.
Records factors causing goods to be returned.
Unloads and moves incoming shipments to storage.
Forwards approved receiving documents to appropriate department for processing.
Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
