# Loss Prevention Agent (1099 Contractor Position)
Job Summary
We're seeking a skilled and results-driven Loss Prevention Agent to join our team. As a contractor, you'll play a vital role in preventing losses, investigating incidents, and recovering stolen items for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations into theft and other loss-related incidents
- Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and take statements
- Confront thieves, recovering stolen items when possible
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Collaborate with clients, law enforcement, and internal teams to achieve shared goals
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports and witness statements
- Develop and maintain knowledge of local laws, regulations, and industry best practices
Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods
- Basic computer skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Investigative mindset and ability to work independently
- Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving goals and objectives
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Work Schedule
- Available shifts: 6:30am-3:00pm or 2:00pm-10:30pm
- Clients are open 365 days a year, including holidays
Compensation and Benefits
- Contractor position with weekly pay
