Sales Account Manager - Remote

Our Original Equipment (OE) division is seeking a Key Account Manager to build relationships with OE customer's and decision makers across their engineering, supply chain, planning, quality, and procurement teams. The position is remote but must be willing to travel for regular in-person meetings with clients and stakeholders.

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

$80,000-$120,000/year + Benefits

Responsibilities:

Be personally involved in new customer projects to understand customer points of pain and develop and communicate winning and profitable value propositions at the time of customer RFQs.

Engage with engineering and operational teams in customer discussions, to enhance customer perception of the company as a strong engineering, delivery, and customer service partner.

Work with marketing and engineering teams to set up and manage annual tech days with the engineering and procurement teams of specific key customers.

Successfully, and in a timely manner, close periodic customer negotiations for cost-driven price increases or contractual cost-downs.

Provide and support the preparation of accurate sales forecasts and trends for monthly, quarterly reporting as well as annual and five-year planning.

Quantify opportunities for our development of new products and services.

Arrange and manage visits of customer stakeholders to our manufacturing sites in the US, Mexico and Europe as appropriate.

Participate in continuous improvement activities to build efficiency and effectiveness across our business.

Ensure that internal stakeholders are aware of changing technological, market, and customer requirements, ensuring that these are recorded and shared efficiently.

Identify opportunities to develop added-value technologies, products, and services for existing and new customers.

Realize opportunities to utilize our customer relationships and product offering in external and internal marketing.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in similar sales or account management role

Experience in manufacturing or automotive a plus!
