Job Description:

Member of Enterprise Data Management Operations (EDMO), Controls Testing Team responsible for independently conducting testing assessment focused on data movement, data quality and data governance controls. The role will be dynamic in nature and require the individual to be able to handle diverse work efforts. Candidate will work closely with DQCE, DSE, application managers, process and controls owner & FLU partners to obtain clear understanding of controls environment, business processes, and data movement in order to assess data quality risks across all data lifecycles (Capture, Transport, Use). Candidate will work across teams within EDMO to ensure collaborated communication with stakeholders for introductions, test status updates, end to end execution along with audit & regulatory efforts. Successful candidate will have strong relationship management skills, be competent with project tracking, proactive, detailed oriented, work with minimal instruction and understanding of risks and controls environment.

Required Job Skills:

  • Be able to perform end to end controls testing - from test scoping, identification, creating test plans, leading kick-off meetings with stakeholders, gathering artifacts/testing evidence, performing inquiries and follow-ups, test execution, all the way to reporting
  • Strong Project management skills - leading test status updates, track tasks in JIRA, Quality Center & Confluence
  • Lead testing kick-off meetings and reporting to stakeholders - strong relationship management skills
  • Execute QA test Reviews
  • Support audit and compliance requests
  • Be familiar with Confluence, JIRA and Quality Center
  • Identify control gaps and escalate findings to stakeholders
  • Review of technical documents to assess control efficiencies
  • And someone who is very Detailed oriented, has experience with testing documentation, issue resolution management and is able to clearly communicate them to business partners
  • Have direct controls testing experience, specifically having tested Data Controls (Data Quality, Data Movement, Data Governance), within processes, systems and regulatory reports
  • Be proactive, detail oriented and a team player. Have intellectual curiosity and be active in lending support/help to the team when capacity allows


Desired Job Skills:
  • Desired background in Compliance/Op Risk, audit and good working knowledge of risk management practices
  • Have experience in analyzing PRC for Capture processes and controls, familiarity with ERR and eDIM
  • Familiarity with Bank of America enterprise catalogue tools such as EDR, DDC and BTConverge
  • Bank of America Experience
  • Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal instruction
  • Understanding of EDMG Standards and Policy
