Cosmetology License Required!
Hello! We are a small locally owned salon in the Dilworth area. We have a clientelle of over 200 clients and we have served most of them for 20+ years. During the holidays, we reach out for a little extra help to keep the salon running smoothly. This position does offer room for growth, hourly pay, tips, and constant training with different techniques, business management and time management skills. Chuck Smith and Craig Davis, the owner's of the salon, both have approximately 30 years of industry experience.
Salon assistant role includes:
- greeting and draping clients with capes
- offering clients beverages
- passing foils to stylists
- shampooing clients
- applying base color or gloss color to clients
- assist blow drying
- tear and fold foils
- wash and fold towels
- sweep hair and wipe down stations
basically our assistants help us to keep things moving and clean in the salon. our hours are 6AM-4PM Mon-Fri
tips generally add up to $150+ a week once you connect with clients and establish a great customer service skillset
Must be okay to stand for long periods of time
