Vertical Form Carpenters and Bridge Labor needed for work in Atlanta.Â
Pay is DOE ($22-$26/hour for form carpenters; $15-$16/hour for bridge labor)
Job duties include, but are not limited to:ÂBuild concrete forms for slabs on grade, suspended slabs, walls, columns, vertical slip-formed walls and precast beams. Construct, erect, install, and repair structures of wood, plywood, wallboard, etc. Read and follow blueprints, sketches, or building plans. Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, pneumatic nail gun, skill saw, compound miter saw, radial arm saw, etc. Other duties as needed.Â
Requirements:Â
- Minimum of 5 years' experience for form carpenters - bridge laborers must have at least 1 year experience on heavy highway projects
-Knowledge of proper use of lifts, hand and power tools, materials and supplies used in highway and heavy construction work in a safe manner to minimize the risk of injury, property damage or loss of life
-Ability to work at heights with the use of mobile equipment and proper PPE
- Ability to work in all types of weather conditionsÂ
- Must be able to lift/carry 70+ lbs
