Tar Heel Foundation Solutions, a family-owned leader in the Charlotte (CLT) area for residential and commercial foundation repairs, is expanding operations! We're seeking a reliable, experienced Foundation Repair Lead who works alongside our skilled crawl crew. We specialize in a variety of services, including crawlspace repairs, helical piers, earth anchors, carbon fibers, soil nails, micropiles, wall support systems, and more.
Position Details
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, with optional Saturday work available.
Driving: Must have a current and valid driver's license with no major violations.
Role: Lead worker on the crawl repair crew, combining leadership responsibilities with hands-on work.
Responsibilities
- Follow and execute supervisor directions for assigned tasks.
- Perform crawlspace encapsulation and install vapor barriers.
- Build and repair CMU’s (Concrete Masonry Units) and footers.
- Install drop girders, replace rotted band, and sister floor joists.
- Remove and replace/finish concrete.
- Lead the crawl crew while actively participating in the work.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Reliable personal transportation.
- At least 2 years of framing experience.
- At least 2 years of crawl space repair experience.
- Strong leadership abilities and a “can-do” attitude.
- Willingness to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and maintain physical fitness for demanding tasks.
