Construction Carpenter / Helper – Full-Time
A 1st Choice Contracting is looking for a motivated and reliable Carpenter’s Helper to assist our team on various residential and commercial construction projects throughout Charlotte and nearby areas. This is a full-time position with opportunities to gain hands-on experience and grow in the trades.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist carpenters with measuring, cutting, and installing materials
Carry materials, tools, and equipment to job sites
Operate hand and power tools under supervision
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow instructions and work closely with the crew
Requirements:
Construction/carpentry experience is a plus (but not required)
Physically able to lift 50+ lbs
Must have reliable transportation
Willingness to work hard and learn new skills
Positive attitude and good communication skills
