We are in need of a Business minded shop lead mechanic that has good basic mechanical
knowledge. Also, must be able to communicate well with customers that are on airport. We repair GSE (Ground Support Equipment) (basically everything on an airport except the aircraft) and also do basic maintenance on a few Semi Trucks and semi trailers.
Applicant must:
- Have lived in US for last 3 years
- Be able to pass a 10 year FBI background check
- Have good mechanical knowledge with knowledge of 12 and 24 volt electrical circuits as well as basic knowledge of Diesel motors.
- Be well organized.
- Be a self starter (not a big shop 1-2 guys)
- Be capable of managing multiple different projects and allocating time accordingly
- Be a self starter
- Be a self starter (yes, 3 times lol need someone that has a business mind and can "Own" the
daily operations of the business)
- Must be comfortable with technology (ie Smart Phone, Email, Websites, etc.)
-M-F 8 AM till 5 PM in a few cases may be called in by a customer after hours in emergency to
move a broken down piece of GSE so jet can depart. (Happens rarely)
We work on airport so airport badging is a must.
We are a small shop and have a captive on airport customer base.
