Waste iQ is a multi-state/regional company that supports the Welding Operations for the Waste Industry. We provide maintenance and repair services for dumpsters, compactors and refuse trucks.
We’re looking for a skilled Welding/Fabrication Subcontractor with leadership experience that is looking for a dynamic and fast paced environment and has the ability to assist in customer relations, manage deliverables, and oversee production. This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who takes pride in quality work.
Job Requirements:
- Extensive Welding and Fabrication experience
- At least 5 years Experience in Management and/or Business Ownership
- Effective communication and ability to clearly direct others, report to customers and iQ management team.
- Ability to use Online Forms for daily reports, to enter work performed and provide detailed descriptions and job tasks performed and back up photos
- Ability to perform under pressure and strict deadlines
- Must have critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Must be able to work in high intensity environment with regular and sustained performance of physically demanding work
- Must have Drivers License
- Must have reliable work truck
- Enhanced Tools for Welding and Metal Work
- Ability to perform duties in all types of outside weather conditions, possibly being exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes and/or heavy dust.
- Must be a Self Starter
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Working knowledge of the hazards and practical application of safety precautions common to equipment
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned
Compensation is 76-84% of the Waste iQ Revenue you produce as well as an additional 5% on the Revenue produced by subcontractors you manage - YOU DETERMINE HOW MUCH MONEY YOU MAKE!
Percentages are based on prior experience, training needs and equipment.
