We are currently hiring carpenters and carpenter foreman for commercial work in Salisbury, NC and surrounding areas. The ideal carpenter candidate is a well-round carpenter with experience in commercial settings. Pay is $24 - $28/hour based on experience and skillset + per diem. Carpenter Responsibilities:
Assemble, erect and repair frameworks - wood and metal
Install flooring, windows, doors, interior trim, cabinetry, roofing, siding, insulation, drywall, and more.
Ability to do trim work
Ability to hang drywall
Install of floors, roofs, and walls
Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers etc.)
Ability to design your own layout is preferred but not required
Ability to read blueprints and follow OSHA safety regulations
Carpenter Qualifications:
3+ years of proven experience as a carpenter
OSHA 10 or 30 is a plus but not required
Supervisory experience
Mechanically inclined
Must have your own tools
Your own reliable transportation
Ability to work night shift and travel
