Looking for a PERMANENT NOT SEASONAL driver with an Active Class A CDL driver license that has 12 months within the last 36 months or 60 months within the last 120 months of Tractor Trailer Driving experience.
The Company is a contractor for FedEx Corporation and has 4 positions available. Specific positions can't be offered until applicant completes a third party background screening FedEx Corporation requires of drivers working for FedEx contractors.
Position #1: Night Shift (start time 10PM - 2AM) Lead driver that will have driving duties 3 nights per week scheduled and a leadership list that would constitute the other 2 days of a work week, Job pays a salary for leadership plus revenues generated from driving. Weekly gross should be between $1600-$1700.
Position #2: Night time (start time 9-1130PM). Driver to run dedicated routes 5 nights per week. Routes can run 10-12 hours per night depending on exact assignment. Weekly gross should be $1700-$1750 per week.
Position #3: Night time (start time 10PM-2AM) Driver to run unassigned routes (the run will be based on of Charlotte and go no more that 275 miles from Charlotte max, and home nightly). Job should entail around 36-40 hours per week and drivers are paid salary as long as available to drive 5 days per week. Bonus paid every 4 weeks if revenue earned per mile exceeds salary. Weekly salary is $1100.00
Position #4: Mid day local driver (start time 11AM-2PM) to take empty trailers and bring back loaded (no touch) trailer local to the Charlotte area. Work weeks are 34-40 hours per week and driver should generate $1050.00-$1250.00 per week depending on individual production.
Pay rates typically average between $26-29 per hour
Company benefits include Paid Time Off after 26 weeks of service with time off accumulating each week. For full-time drivers this is equivalent to 15 paid days off per year. Drivers are allowed to use Paid Time Off for extra cash.
Qualification include the driving experience indicated above. No accidents within the past 12 months, no more than 1 ticket or accident within past 36 months, no felonies or misdemeanors that involve theft or violence within past 10 years, and ability to pass a DOT drug screen.
