Owner-Operators Needed – LOCAL & HOME DAILY! (Gastonia, NC)
Highways & Skyways Transportation LLC – Gastonia, NC is a regional carrier based in Gastonia, NC, has immediate openings for experienced Owner-Operators. We are seeking qualified drivers located within approximately 50 miles of Charlotte, NC.
Compensation: 76% of load revenue | Paid Weekly | $1,800–$4,200/week after deductions (avg. $2,600)
Employment Type: Contract (1099) | CDL-A | Owner-Operators Only
Sleeper tractor preferred
We’re hiring experienced Owner-Operators within 50 miles of Charlotte, NC. This is a local + regional mix with most weeks being:
3 days local (home nightly)
1 overnight trip (Florida, AL, TN, KY as needed)
What We Offer:
76% of load revenue – Paid weekly
Settlements average $2,600/week after deductions (including fuel)
53’ dry van trailers provided
No-touch freight – mix of live load & drop/hook
What You Need:
Well-maintained sleeper tractor (passes DOT every 6 months)
2+ years tractor-trailer experience
Good, steady work history
Clean MVR (≤ 2 violations in last 3 years, no DOT reportable accidents or major violations)
No DUI, felony, or failed/refused drug test in past 10 years
Owner-Operators only – no fleet owners, no company drivers
