Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods to our customers. This role requires a personal vehicle that is made in the year 2010 or later, in possession of a valid drivers license up to date insurance and a phone with a GPS app. In addition this position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting. Position is POV Driver for M&E Pathways through FedEx Ground.
Responsibilities
Load and unload items efficiently, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary.
Ensure that all deliveries are completed on time while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
Provide outstanding customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transport.
Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and preparing items for shipment.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role within the moving or warehouse industry is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands associated with loading and unloading goods.
Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic regulations.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate delivery records.
A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
