Local nonprofit, looking for a reliable, professional part time drive to transport youth to and from program services. Transportation is within the Charlotte city limits. Must have clean driving record and experience driving a mid-size passenger vehicle. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys driving, likes coaching/speaking to adolescents, has open availability, a great work ethic, and is dependable. Ideal for someone who lives on the East side of Charlotte.
Responsibilities:
Operate the vehicle in accordance with all company policies and adhere to state motor vehicle laws.
Safely and efficiently transport youth to program location.
Safely and efficiently operate a 16-passenger vehicle.
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely pick up and drop off.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations to maintain a safe driving record.
Perform routine inspections on vehicle to ensure it's in proper working order.
Maintain accurate records of receipts, mileage logs, and any other required documentation.
Requirements/Skills:
The applicant must be at least 25 years of age, have a valid state issued Driver License with clean/satisfactory driving record.
Must successfully pass a background check.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Ability to operate vehicle with manual transmission.
Excellent navigation skills and the ability to follow directions accurately.
Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
Experience shall be two or more years
Must have own reliable transportation to get to company van.
Job Type: Part-time, 1099 status
Pay: $100 per Saturday
Procedure:
a) Driver arrives to the office to get the ASOP Van.
b) Driver uses ASOP Van to pick up youth and brings them to the program by 11am.
c) Driver leaves in their own vehicle
d) Driver returns at 3pm to pick up youth and drop them off at home.
e) Driver returns to the office to park ASOP Van.
f) Driver leaves in their own vehicle.
