The Education and Events Lead is a food enthusiast who passionately engages guests in Eataly’s mission through events and educational programming. Reports to the Education & Events Manager.Executes public and private in-person events including: specialized cooking/wine/food knowledge classes, group reservations, press events, tastings and private receptionsSupervises staff members during events to ensure smooth executionWrites and monitors class descriptions; compiles instructor biographies, Banquet Event Orders (BEO’s) and sales contracts; creates class registration pages onlineCommunicates with guests regarding class and event registrationFosters accountability in departments and interdepartmental collaboration when planning eventsBuilds and manages client lists and relationshipsUpdates event needs including recipe cards, creating posters, department inventory, etc.Performs other duties as required or assigned
