Providing sought-after counsel within the field of expertise in Refrigeration Engineering.
Making decisions within designated assignments that influence departmental goals.
Collaborating closely with the site Engineering Manager and various departments to address day-to-day issues.
Developing alternative solutions to problems and handling complex issues independently.
Providing engineering project support for the design and implementation of new and upgraded facilities, systems, and equipment used in manufacturing operations, ensuring compliance with FDA's Good Manufacturing Practice Regulations and environmental/personal safety standards.
Working in one or more areas of Engineering within a Manufacturing environment, such as Project, Plant & Reliability, and/or Utilities.
Collaborating with other functional areas in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, etc.
Training others at the entry level based on experience.

Excellent interpersonal, technical writing and communication skills.
Strong technical and problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment.
Designs and operates manufacturing technology for the organization.

Additional Knowledge:
Knowledge of different refrigerants such as R134a, R22, NH3, CO2, 404a, R507a, and others.
Experience in the conversion of manmade refrigerants to natural solutions or those with lower Global Warming Potential (GWP).
Familiarity with cold glycol systems ranging from -25°C to +5°C and warmer temperatures.
Understanding of primary, secondary, and tertiary pumping systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting problems with freezer evaporators, compressor packages, defrosting systems, etc.
Expertise in HVAC systems, including knowledge of differential pressure.
