Overview:HVAC.com is building a refreshingly different way to replace your HVAC. Reporting to the Head of Customer Operations, as an HVAC Inside Sales Specialist, in our dynamic start-up organization, you’ll be a key member of our team helping us to drive growth and expand our HVAC sales platform across the United States. We are in the very early stages of our business growth, so for this role, we need people who are not simply looking for a plug-and-play sales position, but people who show initiative, thought-leadership, who are comfortable with change (lots of it) and want to help shape the trajectory of the HVAC.com business.Job Description:We are seeking motivated and results-driven inside sales professionals to join our team and to work with customers interested in replacing their current HVAC system at their home.Where is the work:This position has been designated as a Virtual/Remote.Key Responsibilities:
Learn the role from the ground floor, working in an Inside Sales representative capacity to learn the industry, develop and refine our sales processes, creating relationships with HVAC companies across the United States.
Provide a VIP-level customer experience to both consumers and HVAC companies, alike.
Communicate with customers through an omni-channel communication platform, utilizing phone, SMS, email and online chat to engage and delight customers.
Emphasize product features aligning to customer wants and needs selecting equipment based on specifications, capabilities and limitations.
Establish trustworthy relationships with customers through rapport building, fact-finding and by making customer-specific recommendations for their home.
Nurture prospects from lead intake (no cold-calling) to eventual closure, maintaining detailed notes and managing tasks along the way – documentation is key.
Engage in relationships with trusted HVAC company partners to communicate install job specifications.
Price, build and send quotes to customers to communicate system specifications, supporting work for installation ensuring terms and conditions align with installation requirements.
Utilize various tools including a CRM such as Hubspot CRM or Salesforce to track and develop sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
Experience managing sales pipelines focused on transactional revenue in excess of $500k/mo or MRR of $300k (transactional or subscription models both apply).Proven experience in inside sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
“Hunter’s mentality” maximizing the yield of every lead through planning, pursuit and detailed pipeline management.
Prior experience with Salesforce, HubSpot CRM or similar CRM platforms preferred.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and prior sales experience in the HVAC industry preferred, but not required.
Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Compensation:Base Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000Disclaimer: This base pay range is based on US national averages.
