This role will report into the VP, Product Management - Compression Systems NA.In this role, you will be responsible for the long-term vision of their portfolios. Owning strategy development, market research and customer requirements, building robust product roadmaps, lifecycle management, and executing key initiatives to deliver profitable growth to the business. Additional responsibilities include overseeing a team of Product Managers responsible for 60HP and above oil lubricated rotary, oil free rotary and oil free scroll products across all Ingersoll Rand brands (Ingersoll Rand, Gardner Denver, Champion, and DV Systems). This role is key to the organization for vision, strategy, and development of the future generations of compressors; while working closely with sales leadership, distribution, sales enablement, engineering, and operations to align priorities and ensure successful growth of these portfolios.Primary Responsibilities:

Manage the development and execution of a multi-brand/multi-channel product strategy through long-range planning and annual operating plan processes.

Own portfolio P&L - scrutinize bookings, revenue, and profitability by product segment and initiate activities to ensure growth in the market.

Research market trends, strategic movements, technology trends, regulations and other potential impacts to portfolios.

Conduct voice of customer activities to identify business, channel partner, and end-user unmet needs. Represent these needs in all business activities.

Own new product development pipeline and execution – Ensure business case commitments are met through cross-functional execution of product design, cost, schedule, operations integration, and market commercialization.

Collaborate with Services Product Management to ensure alignment and achievement of services goals. Execute flawlessly of aftermarket readiness for all product launches.

Produce monthly and quarterly business reporting to drive analysis and lifecycle management of existing compressor platforms for identification of business opportunities.

Define and execute pricing strategy in collaboration with finance, pricing team, and Sales Enablement

Prepare sales forecasts for use in planning manufacturing operations, phase-in and phase-out and controlling inventories.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required. Preference in technical/engineering related field. MBA a plus.

10+ years of work experience in product management, sales, marketing or commercial leadership.

B2B experience in industrial products a plus.

Ability to travel up to 25%.
