RFI/Proposal Writer Level 2 will focus on responding to complex customer proposals. This includes editing existing templates, generating new content that aligns with overall business strategy. The position will also be asked to contribute to projects that support team or department initiatives as necessary including, but not limited to activities that support template development, content creation, and cross functional collaboration.DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:-Essential Skills: Strong writing kills, attention to detail, project management, and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.-Proposal Development: Responding to complex customer proposals with tailored content. Editing and refining existing templates toensure clarity and alignment with business goals.-Collaboration: Participate in strategy meetings, share drafts, and incorporate feedback from team members. Collaborating withvarious departments to gather necessary information and insights.-Content Creation: Independently researches and writes new content that reflects the company's strategic objectives.-Information Resource: Serves as the departmental Subject Matter Expert, providing procedural guidance and direction. Reasonableaccommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:-Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration or equivalent experience required.-5+ years of professional experience in proposal development, with a focus on creating high-caliber, accurate submissions.-Demonstrated track record of successfully writing and managing multiple proposals under deadline pressure.SKILLS:-Superior writing and editing skills with specific attention to detail.-High level of independent decision making.-Strong communication skills – verbal and written.-Ability to manage a fast paced, deadline driven environment.-Creative problem-solving skills.-Excellent time management, project management and organizational skills-Strong Microsoft Office Skills required; Experience with content management software preferred.OTHER REQUIREMENTS:-A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel up to 5% of the time may be required.-This position may require access to International Traffic in Arms Regulations Information (“ITAR”) and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (“CUI”).Compensation starting at $70000 - $90000 depending on experience.The salary range represented is based on similar roles in comparable industries, and the cost of labor in respective cities.
