Description We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Dunn, North Carolina. This role involves handling financial transactions, reconciling journals to the general ledger, and providing support for general accounting duties. This position offers a contract to hire employment opportunity.Responsibilities: Reconciling bank accounts and ensuring accurate financial records Recording financial transactions in line with internal policies and procedures Utilizing Sage 100 accounting software for financial data entry Overseeing and managing SAP Expense Reporting for assigned project sites Conducting debit card reconciliation for assigned project locations Preparing financial statements for Month End/Year End close Verifying the accuracy of financial records and resolving discrepancies Providing support for general accounting duties as assigned Ensuring the correct use of accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close processes Utilizing QuickBooks and SAP in the execution of tasks and duties. Requirements Must hold a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar position Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management Demonstrated experience in performing Bank Reconciliations Proficient in managing General Ledger Skilled in making Journal Entries Experience in Month End Close operations Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting tasks Familiarity with SAP for business process management Experience in using Sage 100 for financial and business management Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
