Supports the management of a data center and the optimization of its ongoing operations
Provides guidance on overall enterprise-wide effectiveness and efficiency of data center technology systems and networks and in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction are maintained
Provides guidance on new technologies, processing performance and financial, physical, and human resource needs to meet established objectives
Advises on data center operations which include site facilities and maintenance, security and surveillance systems, system installations and the overall customer experience.
Advises on delivery of services as per client requirements, control cost and vendor management
Advises on system efficiencies (e.g., maintenance and administration of servers/databases/applications/network/non-IT infrastructure)
May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals. Serves as a team/task lead with supervisory responsibility.
Plans, coordinates, implements and executes approved policies, programs and services related to Data Center services.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering or related OR Four years of related experience may be substituted for the education degree requirement established for this key personnel function.
Minimum 5 years of experience directing the planning, coordination, implementation and execution of approved policies, programs and services related to Data Center services.
Deep knowledge of Data Center Management, including design, infrastructure (hardware, software and telecommunications), maintenance and operations.
Experience with monitoring tools.
Experience with infrastructure components, including but not limited to: Current versions of servers, especially Microsoft, Linux, and UNIX, network equipment, network storage, especially NETAPP data storage appliances, and Active Directory.

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
