Graduate assistants will be assigned to a faculty member and will work with the faculty member on the research or in the classroom.Recruitment RangePosition OverviewPrimary Purpose of PositionThe primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative, research and teaching support to the faculty in identifying and summarizing relevant research articles, writing literature reviews, facilitate projects in the office with other students, grading papers and exam proctoring. Graduate Assistants support departmental processes and serve a variety of purposes that are critical to the goals and mission of the Department of Social Work.Primary Function of Organizational UnitThe Department of Social Work at NC Central University’s mission is to prepare students for generalist social work practice (BSW) and advanced generalist practice (MSW).
