Our global expansion and presence in tens of thousands of retail stores are testaments to our commitment to make the hairy globe a little smoother.Stop wasting time not working for us and come join the club!ROLE SUMMARY:The Manager, IT Operations and Technology plays a key role in ensuring Dollar Shave Club’s technology infrastructure runs at peak performance. In this role, you’ll manage and optimize the company’s networks, servers, hardware, and software, while driving data security and troubleshooting efforts. You’ll lead a high-performing IT Support team, ensuring quick resolution of issues and maintaining seamless operations across the company’s tech ecosystem. Additionally, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding customer service by ensuring that internal teams and users have the support they need for a smooth and efficient experience.RESPONSIBILITIES:

Managing IT infrastructure: Overseeing the company's network, servers, hardware, and software

Manage access control and security principles for AWS and other development infrastructure in collaboration with engineering teams.

Maintain and enforce fine-grained application access controls via Okta and other identity management platforms.

Network maintenance: Ensuring the stability and security of the company's network, including Wi-Fi and wired connections

Server management: Monitoring server performance, optimizing resource allocation, and implementing security measures

Hardware and software management: Procuring, installing, and maintaining necessary hardware and software

Coordinate purchasing of IT equipment (network and server) for all locations to include determining needs, pricing, ordering, and tracking

Identify alternate ways to achieve savings within the organization, via new product recommendations and vendor identification

Data management: Developing and implementing data backup and disaster recovery plans

Security management: Protecting the company's systems and data from cyber threats

Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues that may impact operations

Team management: Leading and managing a team of IT professionals

Project management: Overseeing IT projects, such as system upgrades or new technology implementations

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field required

8+ years of experience in technical operations, infrastructure management, or a similar role

Strong knowledge of Windows servers, Digital cloud services, data center operations, and IT security

Experience with virtualization technologies, enterprise storage systems, and network protocols

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and developing high-performing teams

Experience working in a direct-to-consumer setting, or a consulting background is highly preferred

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving continuous improvement

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and senior management, as well as explaining IT principals to a non-technical audience

Experience in IT planning and deployment of company-wide IT solutions

Strong skills with Jira/Freshservice Service Management, Atlassian dashboards and metrics

You are detail oriented, have a problem-solving attitude and aim to provide the best customer experience

Relevant certifications are a plus, especially those in IT security

POSITION TYPE:This is a full-time exempt position.WORK ENVIRONMENT:This position is in-office, working out of our HQ in Durham, North Carolina 4x a week.SALARY:$150,000-$165,000 + BonusBENEFITS:
