Business Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for maximizing the value of the products created by the Innovation development team.

What you will be doing /

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze business requirements, translate them into functional requirements and construct comprehensive user requirements. Act as a liaison among all internal and external stakeholders to facilitate an understanding of requirements.
  • Build, prioritize, and maintain a clear, comprehensive product backlog based on the product roadmap and business objectives. Plan product release contents and timelines, drive execution to maximize the value.
  • Understand and articulate the business vision and the project scope, communicating with all stakeholders and project team members to ensure the goals are clear and the scope is aligned with the business objectives.
  • Set goals for the development team and lead the team through the development process, including planning, refinement, review, and delivery.
  • Lead design discussions with architects, developers, and testers to drive technical requirements.
  • Review design and test documents to verify that the design will meet the defined requirements.
  • Support of developers: clarification of expected results, clarification of problems described in defects, clarification and explanation of requirements, identification of end-user cases.
  • Support of QA: clarification of test results, requirements, and business/end-user cases and assistance with test case/complex scenario creation.
  • Perform gap analysis between high level and low-level requirements.
  • Serve as the product expert supporting internal and external stakeholders
  • Improve systems by studying current practices and designing modifications. Maintain awareness of Toshiba product roadmap, new features, products or systems as they may apply to our retail clients. Stay current on general retail knowledge, retail product sets, and retail technology.


To be successful in this role you must have the following skills:
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with an ability to simplify and clearly articulate concepts at all levels of the organization and across functions
  • Strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements, and clearly documenting those requirements
  • Experience driving solutions from concept to delivery, working with the Innovation team to define, design, develop, and deliver state-of-the-art technology
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, workflow diagrams
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and software development methodologies
  • Ability to perform gap analysis and root cause analysis
  • Dynamic, energetic and self-starter personality with demonstrated ability to translate product strategy and the product roadmap into executable development plans
  • Strong technical aptitude to learn, understand, and work with a variety of technologies, including hardware, APIs, databases, user interfaces, and various software architectures
  • Ability to work with project and program managers to plan, execute, and deliver


Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelors' degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline, with 4+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis/ Product Ownership, or equivalent combination
  • Previous software development background
  • CBAP certification
  • ai / VersionOne experience
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Russian / Ukrainian language proficiency
