Job Title: Housekeeper / Utility Worker

Position Summary:
The Housekeeper / Utility Worker plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff at Trinity Camp and Conference Center. This position is responsible for daily cleaning and upkeep of guest rooms, restrooms, and common areas, as well as assisting with general maintenance and utility tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the facility. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. This role requires availability to work weekends and holidays on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Housekeeping Duties:
Clean and prepare guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, and replenishing supplies
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, sinks, showers, and toilets
Vacuum carpets, mop floors, and wash windows
Perform deep cleaning of buildings on a scheduled basis
General Utility Duties:
Assist with basic maintenance tasks, such as unclogging toilets and replacing light bulbs
Operate equipment such as leaf blowers and golf carts
Collect and dispose of trash and recycling
Wash, dry, and fold laundry as needed
Assist with setup and breakdown for events when required
Physical & Work Environment Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry 50+ pounds
Stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
Work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, including extreme heat, cold, and rain
Comfortable working around cleaning chemicals and equipment
Qualifications:
Prior housekeeping, janitorial, or maintenance experience preferred but not required
Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and manage time effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Positive, team-oriented attitude and good communication skills
Willingness to work weekends and holidays regularly
Schedule & Compensation:
Both full time and part time positions available
Requires flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
