Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor or Independent Contractor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors. Building is to be cleaned twice a day, anytime between 5am-9am for morning cleaning and anytime between 2pm-5pm for evening cleaning. This position is 7 days a week with bi-weekly pay.
Duties:
- Ability to use a ride on floor scrubber.
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the facility, including floors, walls, and surfaces, to maintain a high level of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Perform commercial and industrial cleaning tasks, including buffing and floor care, to maintain the appearance and functionality of the facility.
- Conduct facilities maintenance duties, such as repairing and replacing equipment, to ensure the facility is in good working order.
- Perform residential painting and other painting tasks as needed to maintain the appearance of the facility.
- Provide custodial services, including emptying trash and recycling bins, to maintain a clean and organized facility.
- Serve as a porter, directing visitors and providing general assistance to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
Skills:
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks to a high standard, including cleaning and maintaining floors and surfaces.
- Experience with commercial and industrial cleaning, including buffing and floor care.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance and the ability to perform routine maintenance tasks.
- Basic knowledge of residential painting and other painting tasks.
- Experience with custodial services, including emptying trash and recycling bins.
- Ability to serve as a porter, directing visitors and providing general assistance.
- Willingness to maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols and best practices.
