Rapidly growing specialized Civil Engineering firm is currently looking for efficient, safety-minded technicians for a bridge repair in Atlantic Beach. Long-term work is available for a variety of positions. Applicants should have bridge construction experience and reliable transportation.
Laborers with special skills, such as concrete demo, carpentry, and metalizing are in especially high demand. We offer a consistent work schedule, benefits, and competitive pay. Ideal candidates shall be capable of working with minimal oversight and willing to follow directions closely. Additionally, they should be familiar with construction industry safety standards and procedures.
Tasks
Climb to heights and conduct work with proper safety restraints
Lift heavy loads up to 70 lbs. and navigate construction job site terrain
Prior experience with concrete demolition and concrete vertical/overhead placement
Prior experience with Concrete Form work
Operate hand and power tools, and a variety of other equipment and instruments
Perform setup and cleanup tasks at job site
Provide labor support as needed for specialty crew
Requirements:
High school diploma/GED preferred
2+ years' concrete construction industry experience preferably on bridges
Basic understanding of construction principles and procedures
Comfort working in high-stress environment with extreme weather fluctuations
