Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance and repair, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment for all.
Duties
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
Fabricate parts as needed using welding techniques to ensure equipment functionality.
Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively.
Utilize an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical systems.
Conduct residential painting tasks as required for upkeep of facilities.
Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
Collaborate with team members and demonstrate leadership skills in coordinating maintenance activities.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory of supplies.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, logic controllers, and general maintenance practices.
Ability to read schematics and technical manuals in English.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Previous experience in customer service is a plus.
