Automotive Sales & Mechanical Service Assistant – Multi-Role Opportunity at a Used Car Dealership

Position Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on, motivated individual for a hybrid position involving:
-Light mechanical work (e.g., oil changes, brake work, tire rotations, electrical, carburetors, leaks, diagnostics)
-Answering phones and assisting customers with basic inquiries
-Vehicle sales assistance, including showing inventory, taking test drives, and closing sales
-This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with cars and people.
Key Responsibilities:
-Perform basic auto service and prep vehicles for sale
-Greet customers and answer phone calls professionally
-Provide sales support by answering questions, showing vehicles, and helping with paperwork
-Maintain a clean and organized work area, inside and out
-Support social media, inventory photos, and lot setup (optional based on skills)
Qualifications:
-Basic automotive skills or prior shop experience preferred
-Friendly, clear communicator with a customer-first attitude
-Comfortable using a phone, taking messages, and working with a small team
-Sales experience is a plus, but not required—willing to train the right person
-Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
-Able to pass a background check and a drug test
