Our transport and logistics company is located in Newton, NC, and operating nationally since 2004. We are seeking someone with established freight accounts who has worked in the logistics and transportation industry and who would be open to helping our company expand in Lumberton. Need professional representation and several years in the business as a freight agent.
Duties:
Customer contacts, book freight, dispatch drivers, and track shipments. Our company is seeking someone who already has customer base (dry, flatbed, or reefer freight) in eastern North Carolina or South Carolina.
Salary:
Compensation is a typical independent agent based, commission based per load. Discussed during interview.
Our terminal is located in Lumberton, and we are expanding in that part of NC.
Truck following would be helpful and in time possible company drivers.
We have our own truck fleet of 25 and growing.
