Fiber Installation Technician

CAVO is seeking Fiber Installation Technicians to join our team! The Fiber Installation Technician will perform residential and/or multi-dwelling unit cable television, high speed data and/or telephone installations from the tap to the customer premise equipment in a safe, courteous and efficient manner, to client specifications. We provide paid training, a company vehicle, full benefits, and tuition assistance. What you’ll do…

Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot cable TV, internet, telephone and/or alarm equipment in accordance with guidelines.

Use small hand tools, power tools, and test equipment.

Ensure services operate within prescribed parameters.

Attempt to identify and remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.

Complete paperwork accurately and report/record work order status updates.

Perform Customer service duties by:

Greeting customers in the home while conducting a walk through;

Reviewing all requested services with the customer to ensure understanding and agreement;

Interacting with customers in a professional, courteous manner including when responding to escalations and repeated customer concerns;

Educating the customer regarding product and service usage.

Who we are looking for…

Minimum 18 years old

Valid U.S. driver's license (Required)

Authorized to work in the United States for this company

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Comfortable working in tight spaces, such as a crawl space or attic of a house

Comfortable working through inclement weather

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment

Effective communication skills

Able to travel and work extended hours; overtime and weekends, as needed

Able to lift, climb, and carry ladders with weight of up to 80lbs
