Description We are in search of a Patient Access Specialist to be a part of our team in the Healthcare, Hospitals, and Social Assistance industry. This role is based in Fayetteville, North Carolina, United States and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The Patient Access Specialist will be responsible for using various healthcare systems and providing excellent customer service. Responsibilities: Utilize healthcare systems such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, Epic Software, and Kronos Timekeeping System. Carry out Benefit Functions and Billing Functions as part of the role. Take part in Clinical Trial Operations. Provide excellent Customer Service to all patients and their families. Use the 'About Time' system for efficient timekeeping and scheduling. Requirements Proficiency in healthcare software such as Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, EHR SYSTEM, Epic Software, and Kronos Timekeeping System Familiarity with time management software like About Time Understanding and experience with Benefit and Billing Functions Knowledge of Clinical Trial Operations Strong customer service skills Prior experience in a healthcare, hospital, or social assistance setting Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure Must be able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
